Attorney Michael Richardson has a long history of service to his country, starting in December 2004 when he first enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves, and it continues to the present day. During his reserve service, he was deployed three times. From 2006 through 2013, he was was deployed three times. His first deployment was with the 303d Psychological Operations Company, Pittsburgh, PA, and the second with the 305th Psychological Operations Company, Virginia Beach, VA. He was later reclassed to a 37F Psychological Operations Specialist and deployed a third time to support Operation Enduring Freedom, Afghanistan. He was part of a Security Forces Advise and Assist Team (SFAAT) and an advisor to the Afghan National Army. In March of 2022, Attorney Richardson began serving as the company 1SG, a position he still holds.
Attorney Richardson has obtained several degrees in the last 20 years despite his intensive Reserve commitments. He got an associate degree from ITT in Specialized technology. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Robert Morris University, which he received in 2010. Attorney Richardson attended law school at Duquesne University, graduating with a Juris Doctorate in 2019. While attending law school, he participated in the Veterans Clinic, a program representing justice-involved Veterans at their progression hearings in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County. He then served as the student manager of the clinic, mentoring other students in the judicial process.
Before joining Crisp and Associates, LLC, Attorney Richardson worked for the Law Offices of Matthew Feinman, where he represented clients in various litigation matters in Pennsylvania state courts. At Crisp and Associates, LLC, Attorney Richardson centers his practice on the specialized field of military law and handles cases involving all military branches. His 18 years of experience as an enlisted soldier and the expertise he acquired during his deployments give him unique insight into the challenges many of his client’s face, allowing him to address their needs better and persevere to achieve a winning outcome.
